Reconnect is a residential computer recycling program that offers you an easy, convenient and responsible way to recycle your used computer equipment. It’s free, and you’ll get a receipt for tax purposes.

How it Works

You can drop off any brand of used equipment at any Licking/Knox Goodwill retail store. It’s free, and you’ll get a receipt for tax purposes.

When to Donate

We accept computer equipment at any time!You don’t have to wait for a special drive once a year.

What if I have a lot to donate?

If you have a “truck load” give us a call or visit our Contact Us page and we will make arrangements to pick up your equipment.

What happens to my computer?

Your computer and other equipment will be recycled by Dell. Licking/Knox Goodwill will not resell your computer in our stores. We may resell monitors, keyboards, mice, ect., but all computers and hard drives are recycled. For more detailed information on the Dell Reconnect Program visit their website.

Dell and Goodwill Industries do not accept liability for lost or confidential data or software. You are responsible for backing up any valuable information and erasing sensitive data from the hard drive before dropping it off. (If you want to completely erase the hard drive, you can find a number of free services available online.)
